Monte de Horeb Ministries is a Christian ministry that allows North Americans to work alongside local Honduran churches in bringing glory to Jesus Christ. We consider this ministry as a “guest ministry” here in Honduras, as North Americans will strive to respect the Honduran people, churches, and culture while serving the Lord in Honduras. The main focus of everything that we do, and invite others to join us in doing, is to be a “witness” for Jesus Christ.  As Scripture states “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God” (2 Corinthians 5:20).  In keeping with this Scripture, we remain aware that we are called to serve as representatives of Jesus, while loving and respecting the Honduran people and culture.
